Vegetable nuggets in three different ways

1. Tofunugetit

The first thing that comes to mind about the term “vegetarian” are vegetables and salads. But this recipe doesn’t have to mimic chicken nuggets to be delicious. These nuggets taste even better and are more nutritious!

Ingredients

  • 100 g of tofu
  • 1 dl of water
  • 4 drops of Tabasco
  • 50 ml soy sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • ½ rkl pepper
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Manufacturing

  1. In a bowl, first mix the tofu, Tabasco and soy sauce. Let the ingredients stand for 15 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the egg, salt and pepper, and add this mixture to the previous mixture. Finally, add the breadcrumbs and knead the dough until you get a solid mixture that can handle.
  3. Make nugget-shaped pieces from this mixture. First, make balls of the dough and flatten them. Put them on the tray.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the vegetable nuggets until golden brown on each side. Serve and enjoy.

2. Vegetable nougat from broccoli

Broccoli is a vegetable that has many benefits for the body. It is rich in vitamins C and E as well as soluble dietary fiber. In addition, it can help prevent disease.

Ingredients

  • 1 carrot
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 beetroot
  • 100 g of broccoli
  • ½ green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ tablespoons salt
  • ½ rkl pepper
  • 200 g breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

Manufacturing

  1. First, chop all the vegetables except the peppers. Boil them for 10-15 minutes until soft.
  2. Put them in a bowl and turn them into dough.
  3. Next, add the pepper, salt, paprika and olive oil. Make a good effort to mix the ingredients well.
  4. Put the mixture in the refrigerator to settle and harden slightly. Let be there for about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Take it out of the fridge and shape the dough into nuggets.
  6. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and place the breadcrumbs on a plate. Dip each nugget in an egg and then spin in breadcrumbs.
  7. Finally, heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the vegetable nougat in it. Let cool, serve and enjoy.

3. Vegetable nuggets with cauliflower and cheese

This is one delicious variation of vegetable nougat, and can be made from any vegetable. All you have to do is mix the ingredients together and knead the dough well so you can shape them into nuggets later.

Cauliflower is suitable for making vegetable nuggets

Ingredients

  • 150 g of cauliflower
  • 50 g of parmesan cheese
  • 150 g of broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Manufacturing

  1. Boil cauliflower and broccoli over medium heat until soft.
  2. Put the vegetables in the food processor with the other ingredients. Add them one at a time so they mix well.
  3. Shape the dough into nuggets. Place them on baking paper on a baking sheet.
  4. Place the vegetable nuggets in an oven at 180 ºC for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Let cool, serve and enjoy a delicious vegetarian meal!
